MSV in collaboration with the social cooperative called “Il Sorriso” we have created a Local event with the participation of 11 children with different disabilities (cognitive, mental, physical, etc.) with enormous success and appreciation by the specialists of the structure and same boys and girls because it has been shown that Petanque and Ultimate Freesbee are very inclusive sports and improve the proprioceptive ability of children with disabilities. Local event with Cooperativa “Il Sorriso”( disable for Sport) – 21.07.2021

Last week, at the Politehnica University of Bucharest, the workshops “Learn, Experiment, Enjoy sports – Petanque&Ultimate Frisbee&Bolos Cartageneros&O jogo da Malha” took place, in which 131 young people practiced 4 traditional sports, at the end of which we received a positive feedback from participants and many smiles (“United through traditional European sports” (code 622885).

On Friday, December 10, 2021, we held an online workshop in which we shared our knowledge about 2 traditional European sports – O jogo de Malha & Bolos Cartageneros to the 25 teachers from different cities in Romania.

Kavadarci - North Macedonia

On 10.12.2021, in Kavardaci-North Macedonia, a workshop was held to present the traditional Cartagena sports bolos and Jogo da malha, which our representatives had the opportunity to learn while visiting Spain. Also the participants of the workshop had the opportunity to know and play petanque as well as the latest frisbee. The traditional sports workshop is part of the United through Traditional European Sports project funded by the Erasmus + Sport Program.

 

 

Kovadarci - North Macedonia

On February 13, 2022 an online workshop was held where we shared our knowledge of two traditional sports O jogo de Malha & Bolos Cartageneros that we assimilated during our stay in Spain under the Erasmus+ program. The workshop was attended by 16 participants from different cities of Macedonia who learned about these traditional sports played in the region of Murcia, Spain, dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries

In March 2022, activities were carried out in Monza (MI) by our partner MSV – Italy
– Online workshop with teachers/coaches for Bolos de Cartageneros/Juego de Mahla/CatchBall explanations.
– Practical workshop in which the traditional European sports Bolos Cartageneros Malha & Catchball were presented in the beautiful Monza Park, one of the 5 largest outdoor parks in Europe.

2.04.2022 –  our university organised the Spring Celebration. During the sport event, 52 disabled and non-disabled persons practiced together bocce, petanque and
maha. They were helped by the volunteers who are students in our university.

During the student scientific session, held this year on May 13, 2022, 4 papers were presented that debated traditional European games such as Oina, Malha, Bocce and Bolos Cartageneros, under the guidance of university lecturer Branet Camelia. After the consultation, the jury decided to award the third place to the student Daniela-Andreea POPIAN, who presented the paper: Bolos Cartageneros, a traditional European sport.

On May 25, 2022, the event “Learn, experiment, enjoy the sport of OINA” took place, in which 12 young people were introduced to the traditional Romanian sport.
We thank the former oina player – Ionita Oliver for his involvement in the event of this project.

17TH ENYSSP Conference, 26 May 2022; during the conference was organised the „Bocce together with friends” workshop where the participants (78 persons) played bocce together the UNEFS students and disabled athletes (10 persons).

24.09.2022 – Fun outdoor activities, the European Week of Sport.

The university organised bocce, jogo da malha and petanque demonstrations at which 70 pupils and 10 teachers from three secondary schools attended. The games were coordinated by 10 stundents – volunteers.
